Globe Telecom has announced that it is partnering with MIDC to sell 7,059 telecom towers in what they call “the largest ever” deal. The sale and leaseback agreement for this first portfolio consists of 2,180 active telcom towers as well passive infrastructure.
With P26 billion worth of investments, MIDC is investing in infrastructure development by securing the purchase and lease back rights on Globe’s towers for 15 years.
The joint venture between Manila Electric Co.’s subsidiary MIDC & global investor Stonepeak will help facilitate faster build out rates while also improving connectivity within our country.
