Miescor Infrastructure Development Corporation
MIDC is an independent tower company specializing in the development, ownership and management of communication towers and infrastructure.
We offer a comprehensive suite of digital infrastructure solutions that are tailored to the unique challenges and requirements of the Philippine market. Our solutions are reliable, scalable, and affordable and can be customized to meet your specific needs.
With a focus on safety and quality, MIDC delivers innovative solutions for the largest mobile operators in the Philippines, such as Smart, Globe, and DITO.
Headquartered in 27F Ore Central Bldg. 31st St. Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. MIDC has been providing essential services to the telecommunications industry since November 2021. Although considered young, MIDC belongs to the Meralco Group of Companies and as such, we take pride on our solid processes and access to best practice in the utility and service industry. Our commitment to quality, safety, and customer service will enable our clients to provide world class telecommunication services.
Our History
Continuing the legacy of our parent company, MIESCOR, a wholly subsidiary of MERALCO, MIDC as an independent tower company aims to contribute to the accelerated growth of mobile network and data services in the Philippines through the development, construction, and operation of communication towers and other related digital infrastructure services.
In 2021, MIESCOR began actively pursuing passive telco tower opportunities through its Common Tower business unit and has since gained a lot of traction by becoming one of Smart & Globe’s TowerCo partners.
Towards the end of 2021, MIDC was founded as a new subsidiary after the board decided to focus not just on Common Towers but also on Digital infrastructure.
MIESCOR transferred its DICT license to MIDC and partnered with Stonepeak, a leading alternative investment firm specializing in infrastructure and real assets with approximately USD53.4 billion of assets under management as of December 2022.
Our regional portfolio offers a diversified mix of towers across key growth markets in the Philippines. We have been awarded numerous accolades for our achievements and continue to grow at an impressive rate.

MIESCOR Common Tower BU secures 159 Pilot Build-to-suit sites from Smart.
NOV
Incorporation of MIESCOR Infrastructure Development Corporation.
71 Hard-to-Acquire sites were awarded under Bilateral Agreement.
2022
Apr
Joint Venture Agreement between MIESCOR and Stonepeak, making MIDC 49% owned by Stonepeak and 51% by MIESCOR.
Aug
Signing of Sale and Leaseback agreement with Globe – 2,180 SLB Towers, 900 committed BTS sites.
Oct
First closing milestone – Kick-off of the handover-takeover (HoTo) of 701 out of 2,180 towers from Globe.
2023
Aug
1,020 SLB towers from Globe already with MIDC. Additional 176 BTS awarded by Globe to MIDC.
Dec
Closed first colocation partnership with DITO.
2024
Feb
MIDC and PhilTower announce plans to create Philippine-wide digital infrastructure provider.
Jun
1,669 SLB towers from Globe already with MIDC, 178 BTS towers with 103 colocation orders from SMART and DITO.
Sep
MIDC and PhilTower secures PCC and SEC approvals to form a Joint Venture Co.
